What we won’t take
Hazardous materials need a licensed disposal facility, and we won’t pretend otherwise. That means: paint that’s still wet, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks (full or partial), automotive batteries, tires, asbestos-containing materials, and pesticides. The Sumner County Convenience Center on Volunteer Drive accepts most of these from county residents — call ahead for the schedule.
