Frequently Asked Questions

Pricing, scheduling, what we’ll take, what we won’t. The questions Hendersonville homeowners actually ask.

How much does junk removal cost in Hendersonville? +

Most single-item pickups run $90 to $150. Half-truck loads are $250 to $350. A full 12-yard truck runs $450 to $600. The price depends on volume, weight, and whether anything needs disassembly. We text a firm flat-rate quote before we drive out — what we quote is what you pay.

What does the truck size mean? +

A "full truck" for us is roughly 12 cubic yards — about the size of a small dumpster. Visualize a pickup bed loaded six feet high. A "half-truck" is ~6 cubic yards. Most homeowner cleanouts fit in a half-truck or one full load.

Do you charge by weight or by volume? +

By volume, with a weight cap built in. Heavy items (concrete, dirt, roofing shingles, hot tubs full of water) are quoted separately because dump fees scale with weight on those.

Do you offer same-day junk removal? +

Yes. Calls before 1pm almost always get same-day service in Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville. After 1pm we book first thing the next morning.

What can’t you take? +

Hazardous waste: paint, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, tires, automotive batteries, asbestos, and pesticides. We can point you to the Sumner County Convenience Center for those. Sumner residents drop them off free on scheduled days.

Do you take heavy items like hot tubs, pianos, gun safes, and pool tables? +

Yes — these need 24 hours notice so we send a 2-person crew with the right straps and dollies. Hot tubs need to be drained before pickup. Upright pianos are fine; concert grands need a special quote.

Can you haul off a shed, swing set, or trampoline? +

Yes. We dismantle on-site. A typical 8x10 shed runs $300–$500 depending on materials. Trampolines are $150–$200. Swing sets $200–$400.

Do you do estate or hoarder cleanouts? +

Yes — that’s a regular part of our work. Whole-house clearouts handled with discretion and on a fixed quote. Most 3-bedroom homes are one day, one or two truck loads. We separate donations and provide the receipt.

Can I just rent a dumpster instead? +

You can — but if you’d rather not load it yourself, lift it down stairs, or fight the dumpster permit, full-service hauling usually comes out cheaper than a dumpster + your weekend.

What’s the process when I call? +

(1) You call or text. (2) You describe (or photograph) what needs to go. (3) We text a flat-rate quote within 10 minutes. (4) You pick a 2-hour window. (5) We arrive, you point, we haul, you pay only when it’s loaded. (6) We sweep up.

Are you licensed and insured? +

Yes. Fully insured for residential and commercial pickups across Tennessee. We carry general liability and workers’ comp. We can email a Certificate of Insurance for property managers, real estate agents, and contractors who need it.

How do you handle stairs, basements, and tight access? +

Free. We have hand trucks, furniture sliders, and shoulder dollies. Most upstairs/basement work is included in the quote. The exceptions: third-floor walk-ups, stairs over 25 steps, and access through a finished room with new flooring (we may add a $25–$50 protection charge to lay runners).

Do you donate or recycle? +

Yes. Working appliances, undamaged furniture, clothing, books, and toys go to Goodwill (Hendersonville location) or Habitat for Humanity ReStore (Gallatin). Metal goes to Sumner Recycling. We give you the donation receipt — a real tax deduction.

How do you take payment? +

Card, cash, Venmo, or Zelle. We invoice before we leave. Card payments incur no surcharge.

What if it rains? +

We work in light rain. Heavy storms — we reschedule to the next dry slot at no charge. Tarps over the truck protect cardboard and upholstery.

Do you do commercial pickups? +

Yes — office cleanouts, retail tenant turnovers, post-construction site cleanups. We invoice with W-9 on file for property management companies. Recurring weekly pickups available.

Can the truck park anywhere? +

Driveway, alley, street with a permit if required. We never block neighbors. If parking is tight (downtown Gallatin, certain Hendersonville cul-de-sacs), let us know — we may shuttle items in a smaller pickup.

How fast can I get a quote? +

Photos via text get the fastest answer — usually under 10 minutes. Calls during business hours get answered live. After-hours messages get a callback by 7:30am.
